The story of senz°

In 2006, senz° was founded by 3 Dutch students of the TU Delft. They wanted to do something about umbrellas that broke quickly and ended up in the garbage. This way, millions of umbrellas are thrown away each year. The students pursued the idea to invent a sustainable umbrella, a strong one with a long lifecycle. They came up with the special senz° storm umbrellas!

The mission of senz°

It is senz° mission to produce the best working and most sustainable umbrella in the world. Strong, practical, protecting against heavy rain showers, storms and bright sun beams. Soon after the introduction, senz° became highly popular all over the world and they sold millions of storm umbrellas. The company also won various international design awards, which contributed to their success.

Iconic design

The senz° umbrella has a great design. The special aerodynamic shape (which is patented) works like a wing, making it possible to withstand stormy weather.

The umbrella sort of floats on the wind, which makes it light and easy to hold. Thanks to this unique design, the umbrella can withstand wind speeds of up to 62m/ph.
